 United Feeds is part of Dale Farm Agri and one of Northern Ireland’s largest feed companies with manufacturing facilities in Belfast and Dungannon.  The company has continued to grow its market share within the animal feeds sector through its technical expertise and quality product range.

Based at our Belfast Mill, Northern Road, Belfast, the company are wishing to recruit for the following key position within our team:

 Customer Services Advisor (Temporary)

(Office hours 7.30am-5.30pm – 8 hour shifts within this timeframe)

Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, you will be a key member of the Customer Services Team. You will liaise with the Logistics and Production Planning Team & Sales Team who are responsible for driving forward best in class sales and customer service.

The key responsibilities of the role will be to manage order receipt and processing in a timely and accurate manner, order acknowledgement, validation check of order, ensure all details are received at time of order placement. You will also be responsible for placing order on internal systems and ensuring accurate information is passed on to relevant departments and ensuring amendments to orders are actioned immediately, communicating details to the appropriate internal departments.

Applicants should have the ability to build relationships with people of all levels within the company and externally with customers and suppliers. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office with previous use of Microsoft Navision desirable. Knowledge of animal feed industry would be ideal.

The successful candidate should have rigorous attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and demonstrate a drive for improvement and an ability to action change. You should also possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and have the ability handle a varied and detailed workload to tight deadlines.
