Over the last month, we have seen our clubs step up to the challenge of helping those in need in our rural communities to help with the fight against Coronavirus. This dedication to helping the vulnerable has not gone unnoticed.
Throughout this time clubs have organised food banks, collected groceries, picked up perscriptions, delivered PPE to even distributing Letters of Hope. Clubs have carried out these activites by using their own time and money.
With this in mind we are extremely pleased to announce that our 90th Anniversary sponsor, Power NI has joined the Young Farmers;' Clubs of Ulster as our Community Partner in our Covid-19 response activity.
Today, we our launching the YFCU Covid-19 Grant Scheme kindly sponsored by PowerNI. This small grant scheme is to help clubs in their efforts to provide support to their rural communities and across Northern Ireland.
Amy Bennington, Power NI, states; 'We are so excited and encouraged by what you all have already achieved in helping those who need it most in our community and we look foward to seeing that work develop furtherwith the support of this scheme.'
